Mr. Kévin Thompson, President of The Whitlock Group, Appointed to Board of Directors of the Virginia Association of Broadcasters

Mr. Kévin Thompson, president of The Whitlock Group, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Virginia Association of Broadcasters (VAB). The VAB is dedicated to advancing broadcasting, providing consultation and advice to businesses, participating in government affairs, providing EEO recruitment and promoting Radio and Television advertising to Virginia businesses.

Mr. Thompson will be serving on the Board in the newly created position of Associate Advisory. Mr. Thompson is the first person to ever hold this Board position, though it is the second time he has been asked to serve on the VAB Board. He explained, “I am honored to have been asked to return to serve on the Board of the VAB. I have worked in the broadcasting industry for over thirty years in various roles and have witnessed the changes in broadcast technology first-hand. I have found the VAB is the staple of Virginia Broadcasting. TV Stations, news agencies and even corporations and government entities trust the VAB to provide consulting, training and support to broadcasters throughout the Commonwealth. I am excited to be a part of this tremendous organization.”
