The Whitlock Group Hires Branch Manager for Virginia Beach Office Location June 25, 2007 The Whitlock Group today announced the appointment of Mr. Jon McGlothian to the position of Branch Manager for Company's Virginia Beach office. In this position, Jon will oversee the financial, operational and administrative mechanisms for the The Whitlock Group’s team of team of engineers, project managers, programmers, account managers and installation specialists in the Company’s Virginia Beach, VA regional office location. The Whitlock Group is a systems integration firm focused on audiovisual, videoconferencing, video production, broadcast, digital signage and related technologies. The Company has annual revenues in excess of $100 million dollars and over 350 employees spanning twenty-two U.S. offices in thirteen States. The company is a privately-held corporation headquartered in Richmond, VA. Jon comes to The Whitlock Group from the New York Times Company, where he was employed for over six years as a Controller and then as Director of Process Improvement. In these positions, Jon demonstrated the ability to integrate people, technology, finance and business processes to deliver bottom line results. He led continuous improvement and quality management programs throughout the New York Times Company’s media organization, including broadcast, internet and print operations, significantly increasing revenue growth and profitability. Jon previously served as a Department Operations Manager, a Financial Analysis Manager and an Operations Controller for Buckeye Technologies in Memphis. Jon received his Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy and obtained a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Memphis. Jon is also a Certified Management Accountant and served as a Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Army.
