Challenge:
Level 3 Communications is one of only six Tier 1 Internet providers in the world. The company ranks as one of world's most connected Internet Service Providers (ISPs). Level 3 was challenged with a necessary remodel and expansion of legacy audiovisual systems to improve monitoring performance and uptime of Internet services to clients, enterprise collaboration, standardization and general management and control over AV and digital media environments.
Solution:
Whitlock assessed Level 3’s current technology landscape and recommended efficient solutions to match the company’s current and future needs. The large-scale implementation delivered by Whitlock included a new Network Operations Center, two Situation Rooms and an Event Center at the corporate headquarters. Whitlock also provided knowledge transfer and ongoing service and staffing support to Level 3 to keep their operations running optimally.

- Christie projectors that rear-project onto five (5) 150-inch RP Visuals diffusion screens
- Christie wall processor was provided to enable the users to dynamically display content from the network, local hard drive, RGBHV and video inputs.
