Challenge:

Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine (RVUCOM) is one of the country’s top osteopathic, holistic higher education centers, where the focus is on integrity, professionalism, ethics, compassion and cultural competency. The university has a history of utilizing state-of-the-art technologies in its teaching and learning practices. With a goal of providing improved learning environments and better care to patients, RVUCOM approached Whitlock to expand its campus-wide use of audiovisual technologies.

Solution:

Whitlock assessed RVUCOM’s needs, and engineered and installed multiple auditorium spaces, anatomy theaters, training/seminar rooms, labs, classrooms and patient evaluation rooms. Using video across the campus and for distance learning has improved the value of education, sharing of knowledge, collaboration and service to patients.
