Schlumberger is a leading oilfield services company supplying technology, project management and information solutions that optimize performance for customers working in the international oil and gas industry. The Whitlock Group was contracted to help design, integrate and maintain advanced audiovisual systems for Schlumberger's new Technology Breakthrough Performance center which includes (2) new Visualization Centers (called "iCenters" by Schlumberger), (2) Collaboration Rooms, (1) Computer Lab and a Digital Sponsor Wall.
All rooms contain state-of-the-art audiovisual solutions. The main iCenter is driven by a Sony 4K Passive Stereo system. A Barco VR Workroom passive stereo system is the main display solution for the divisible room just adjacent to the iCenter. All rooms are networked, collaborative visualization environments that integrate people, data and ideas in a secure setting to make real-time decisions at all stages of operations: drilling optimization, reservoir evaluation, well planning, interpretation and field development. The Whitlock Group was also contracted to design and integrate Tandberg videoconferencing, Crestron control systems, Biamp Audio BSP's, large Matrix Switchers, Digital Signage and many other advanced AV technologies into this large Technology Performance Center.
The Whitlock Group's solid performance has lead to working with many other internal and external advanced audiovisual projects both nationally and internationally. The Whitlock Group is continuing to service Schlumberger with a Priority Maintenance Agreement which contains guaranteed response times and preventive maintenance agreements.
