The university came to Whitlock to assist with state-of-the-art audiovisual solutions for wired classrooms, auditoriums, videoconferencing, interactive digital displays and streaming video capabilities.

Solution

Whitlock designed, engineered and integrated the latest technologies for medical simulation rooms, interactive classrooms, collaborative auditoriums and conferencing centers across the VCU campus. With these technologies in place, VCU is able to offer distance learning, streaming classroom instruction and real-world simulation models for medical education and research. The university is able to communicate and interact in real-time with HD quality video with students, professors and researchers worldwide. Cost savings are achieved through lowered travel costs, improved collaboration, greater access to current information and expanded knowledge-sharing campus-wide.
