As audiovisual and broadcast systems have become more and more complex, many of our larger clients have been challenged by daily operation and maintenance issues. That's where we come in, (literally).


The Whitlock Group offers full time on-site AV support services as well as traditional service contracts. All of our service plans are custom tailored to meet your specific needs. So, while our people take care of your equipment, yours can take care of your business.


Our people will work with you, in more ways than one.


Our Support Service agreement can be structured in any way that works best for you, from hourly fees, to a comprehensive lump sum annual contract. This can include any level of service, ranging from as-needed and on-call technical services to full time on-site technicians, responsible for daily maintenance, room scheduling, reporting, meeting coordination, repairs, installations and many other functions.


At the end of a large integration project,
a few common challenges include:

  1. Finding existing staff or hiring additional staff technically capable of daily operation and maintenance of a complex integration system
  2. Having trained backup personnel on staff to cover in times of absence
  3. Offering these staff members career paths within organizations that are not focused on audio-visual and broadcast
  4. Having immediate response times for system failures
  5. Receiving priority attention from manufacturers for on-going service, training and product updates
  6. Finding consistent service associated with dedicated personnel maintaining the systems
  7. Maintenance of relevant reporting and inventory tracking to provide necessary data to management

Our Solution:
Our solution for many clients, including Chase Banks, Nortel Networks, Glaxo SmithKline, Microsoft and others has been to provide a higher level of maintenance that includes full-time on-site support, with trained backups. Whitlock would hire, train and provide a full-time employee to the project and include this in our maintenance contract. The plan would include all of the features of the extended maintenance plan like preventive maintenance, discounts, loaners, etc. in addition to the full-time on-site support.
